The so called the lovers dayJ\... huuh the day lovers are waitin for and are makin advance planin for the day.The only reason why this holiday is celebrated on 14th feb is because February being the shortest month of the year so there is a greater chance of the people having more disposable incometo waste on the expensive gift in the name of love.
Gifting bouquets of red roses, heart shaped boxes of chocolates, greeting cards (with all fake shayris), teddy bears is a common practice all over the world, there is a little differences in the way V day is celebrated across various cultures. For example, in India saffron coloured kurta or muffler wearing youth(shiv sena, shri ram sena, bajrang dal, VHP….many more….)armed with lathis attack male and female sitting ever within five meter radius of each other. According to them these days harm to our culture and if the couple really loves each other why don’t they should be married to each other sot they are also found accompanied with the pundits who will arrange the marriage ceremony of the male female youths on the spot found together on the day.
We can also find many despos (desipoets) on the poets busy writing some rhymes to there beloved or busy finding beloved... but I can’t understand why one needs a day to express the love towards each other it can be done anyday anywhere n anytimes.
Well... well this is just a personnel insights and I donn have any oppose thoughts against the V day
